In den vergangenen Tagen erreichten mich bereits diverse E-Mails zu dem Thema, nun hat es Apple auch offiziell gemacht. Eine beliebte Funktion des AppStore unter iOS-Versionen kleiner als 6.0 war das Verschenken von Apps. Dies ist über den überarbeiteten AppStore in iOS 6 nun nicht mehr möglich. Der entsprechende Button fehlt schlicht und ergreifend. Was auf den ersten Blick noch nach einem Bug aussehen könnte, ist in der Tat so gewollt, wie Apple innerhalb eines entsprechenden Support-Dokuments inzwischen bestätigt. Als Alternative empfiehlt man dort das Verschenken von Apps über den in iTunes enthaltenen AppStore auf einem Mac oder PC. Ein wenig Hoffnung darf aber dennoch gehegt werden, denn Apple spricht in dem angesprochenen Support-Dokument davon, dass die Funktion "zurzeit" nicht verfügbar sei. Ein künftiges Update könnte sie also unter Umständen auch wieder zurück bringen. Nun aber erst einmal viel Spaß mit den [iOS] AppStore Perlen dieser Woche.
