Apple bewirbt iPhone Trade-In Programm mit neuem Video: "Do one last great thing with it."
Auf der letzten Bekanntgabe von Apples Quartalszahlen betonte CEO Tim Cook auffallend deutlich, dass die Talsohle des iPhone fürs Erste durchschritten scheint, was unter anderem an einer Rekordzahl von zurückgebrachten und eingetauschten Geräten in Apples sogenanntem "Trade-In Programm" für das iPhone gelegen habe. Genau dieses Programm thematisiert Apple nun in einem neuen Werbespot für das iPhone unter dem Titel "Do one last great thing with it". Dieses "one last great thing" ist dementsprechend natürlich die Rückgabe des Altgeräts. Apples passender Text dazu:
You've done great things with your iPhone, but at some point, you'll be ready for something new. You can easily trade it in with Apple so it can be refurbished and put back into the world so someone new can do their own great things with it.
But if your device is at the very end of its life, materials inside will be recovered and recycled. Either way, you can continue to do what you love while respecting the planet.
Im Rahmen des Programms können Nutzer einen Rabatt beim Kauf eines neuen iPhone oder eine Apple Geschenkkarte erhalten. Selbstverständlich kann man das Gerät aber auch ohne Gegenwert an Apple zurückgeben, um es recyceln zu lassen.
