Apple präsentiert neue Versionen der iLife- und iWork-Apps für Mac und iOS

Lange hat es gedauert, heute Abend hat Apple nun neue Versionen der iLife-Apps für iOS und den Mac präsentiert. Dabei hat Apple nicht nur auf die Anpassung an iOS 7 geachtet, sondern auch eine ganze Reihe neuer Funktionen mit untergebracht. Künftig können somit auch auf dem iPad Fotobücher erstellt und bestellt werden. So wurde beispielsweise iMovie in beiden Varianten komplett neu gestaltet, um das Bearbeiten von Videos noch einfacher und komfortabler zu machen. Dank der Einbeziehung von iCloud landen Videos, die mit dem iPhone gedreht wurden automatisch in iMovie auf dem Mac. Dies gilt unter anderem auch für GarageBand-Projekte. Die Musik-App erhält unter anderem einen neuen virtuellen Drummer, den man mit ein paar Mausklicks konfigurieren kann. Alle Apps sind kostenlos beim Kauf eines neuen Mac oder iOS-Geräts. Die Updates für die Apps stehen ab heute in den jeweiligen AppStores zum Download bereit.

Auch iWork erhält ein umfangreiches Update für den Mac und iOS. Die Apps wurden komplett überarbeitet und wirken deutlich zeitgemäßer als die alte, über Jahre nicht aktualisierten Versionen. Pages bekommt beispielsweise eine neue kontextsensitive Seitenleiste zur Formatierung von Texten. In Keynote stehen unter anderem neue Übergänge und Effekte zur Verfügung und Numbers bekommt dynamische Diagramme spendiert. Auch hier hat erwartungsgemäß eine noch tiefere iCloud-Integration Einzug gehalten, die sich unter anderem in iWork für iCloud niederschlägt. Neu ist hier ein Kollaborations-Feature, worüber mehrere Nutzer an ein und derselben Datei arbeiten können. Auch die iWork-Apps sind kostenlos beim Kauf eines neuen Mac oder iOS-Geräts. Die Updates für Pages, Numbers und Keynote stehen ebenfalls ab heute in den jeweiligen AppStores zum Download bereit.
