Vollwertige Version von Adobe Photoshop kommt 2019 auf das iPad

Auch wenn das iPad für mich nach wie vor eher ein Gerät zum Konsumieren von multimedialen Inhalten unterwegs ist, ersetzt es für immer mehr Menschen inzwischen gar einen vollwertigen Laptop. Entsprechend verwundert es nicht wirklich, dass die Hersteller von Produktivanwendungen ihre Produkte mehr und mehr auch für das Apple-Tablet anbieten. Im kommenden Jahr könnte dabei eine Lücke gefüllt werden, die aktuell noch von verschiedenen Anwendern bemängelt wird. Wie der in der Regel gut informierte Kollege Mark Gurman von Bloomberg berichtet, plant Adobe für 2019 eine vollwertige iPad-Version seiner beliebten Photoshop-Anwendung. Diese soll bereits im Oktober im Rahmen einer Adobe-Keynote auf der MAX-Konferenz präsentiert werden.

Scott Belsky, Adobes zuständiger Manager für die Creative-Cloud-Software, bestätigte den Bericht, wollte sich jedoch nicht auf eine zeitliche Aussage zum Erscheinen festlegen:

"My aspiration is to get these on the market as soon as possible. There’s a lot required to take a product as sophisticated and powerful as Photoshop and make that work on a modern device like the iPad. We need to bring our products into this cloud-first collaborative era."

Das kann Adobe sich sparen. Warum sollte sich irgendjemand in Zukunft Photoshop auf dem iPad mieten, wo es doch schon Affinity Photo für nen „? und ein Ei“ gibt?
