Weitere Updates: Safari, iPhoto, Aperture, Xcode [UPDATE]

Neben dem Update auf iOS 6.0.1 und der ersten Beta von iOS 6.1 hat Apple am gestrigen Abend noch weitere Aktualisierungen freigegeben. Während sich Safari für den Mac in Version 6.0.2 offenbar ausschließlich um das Beheben von Sicherheitslücken kümmert, sind die Releasenotes von iPhoto 9.4.2 und Aperture 3.4.2 deutlich länger. In iPhoto können nach dem Update nun Fotos per drag and drop in die Fotostreams geschubst werden. Ein neuer Kontextmenüeintrag gestattet zudem das Importieren aller Fotos eines Fotostreams. Hinzu kommen weitere kleine Fehlerkorrekturen und Verbesserungen, in erster Linie im Zusammenhang mit Fotostream, aber beispielsweise auch bei der Verwendung von Microsoft Outlook als Mail-Client für iPhoto. In den kompletten Releasenotes heißt es:

• Photos now can be added to shared streams or My Photo Stream by dragging them to “Photo Stream” in the source list
• Multiple email addresses can now be copied and pasted in the “Shared with” field for shared streams
• When more than five subscribers “Like” a photo in a shared stream, their names are now displayed correctly
• Contextual menu now includes an Import command to import all the photos contained in a shared photo stream
• Addresses the reliability of Shared Photo Streams when switching between iPhoto and Aperture with the same library
• Fixes an issue that could prevent Microsoft Outlook from being used to email photos from within iPhoto
• Updated national holidays are available for use in printed photo calendars
• Includes stability improvements

Für die neue Aperture Version schreibt Apple:

  • Photos received via My Photo Stream or shared streams can now be added directly to other shared streams
  • Multiple email addresses can now be copied and pasted in the "Shared with" field for shared streams
  • When more than five subscribers "Like" a photo in a shared stream, all their names are now displayed correctly
  • The Info panel for a shared stream now includes an Unsubscribe button
  • The status line in the toolstrip now displays the number of new photos added to a shared stream
  • Faces are now properly detected on photos imported into a library from a shared stream
  • Adjusted photos added to shared streams are now published with EXIF metadata properly preserved
  • Addresses the reliability of Shared Photo Streams when switching between iPhoto and Aperture with the same library
  • Custom keyboard shortcuts are now properly preserved when upgrading from earlier versions of Aperture
  • Double-clicking a photo in Viewer-Only mode now correctly toggles to the Browser view
  • Addresses a problem that could prevent the Viewer from displaying images with correct color after Auto White Balance and Auto Enhance are applied
  • Addresses an issue that could cause JPEGs exported with a custom ICC profile to render incorrectly
  • A dialog now displays progress when deleting large numbers of photos using the Empty Aperture Trash command
  • Fixes a problem that could cause duplicate detection on import to fail when the "Auto-Split Projects" option is enabled
  • RAW files are no longer displayed in the Import window when the "JPEG files only" option is enabled
  • Key photos made from panoramic images are now displayed at high resolution
  • Addresses a problem that could cause the Info panel in the Inspector to display the wrong metadata view
  • Fixes an issue that could prevent Microsoft Outlook from being used to email photos from within Aperture
  • Improves stability when working with AVCHD video files
  • Fixes a problem with using the Zoom navigator on a second display
  • Addresses issues that could cause web journals to export incorrectly
  • Includes stability improvements

Die Updates für iPhoto, Aperture und Safari können ebenso wie das neue Xcode in Version 4.5.2 über die Update-Funktion des Mac AppStore geladen werden.

UPDATE: Offenbar gibt es aktuell größere Probleme bei den Updates, die des Öfteren mit einem Fehler abbricht. Alternativ können die folgenden Direktlinks genutzt werden (mit Dank an Jürgen!):

Der Update für Safari bricht im Moment mit Fehler 3010 ab. Noch kein Fix in Sicht.

Hier auch: Updates für Aperture und Safari brechen sofort mit der Fehlermeldung 3001 ab. Xcode-Update ging problemlos.

Beim Safari-Update erhalte auch ich eine Fehlermeldung. Hat es denn auf deinem Mac geklappt, Flo?

Nein, ist bei mir in der Tat auch abgebrochen. Das Problem dürfte sich aber vermutlich in Kürze von selbst erledigen. Alternativ bieten sich die Direktlinks von Jürgen aus dem Kommentar unten an.

Scheint ein Serverseitiges Problem zu sein, welches nur von Apple gelöst werden kann. Wer nicht warten will kann die Updates auch direkt laden, zumindest für Aperture und iPhoto. Für Safari habe ich keinen aktuellen Download gefunden.

Also bei mir lief das Update für iPhoto sauber durch. Einzig allein bei Safari hatte ich verbindungsabbrueche und werde es deswegen heute Mittag nochmal versuchen.
Zum Thema iWork bin ich guter Dinge. Hier hat Apple durch die iCloud ein guten weg eingeschlagen indem sie in ein bestehendes Produkt die iCloud Funktionalität gepackt haben und nicht ein neues Produkt iCloud Funktionalität released haben.

Ja schon. Aber wäre schon toll, wenn sich iWork in osx so einfach wie in iOS mit iCloud synchen würde...

...das update über den direkt-link funktioniert bei mir auch nicht. sowohl auf meinem macbook pro late 2010 als auch auf meinem mac pro (beide os x 10.8.2)

Scheint wohl ein längeres Problem zu sein -- bei mir keine Aktualisierung möglich. Versuchs jetzt mit dem Link von Iphoto

Gibt es eigentlich irgendeine Möglichkeit, in der Mitteilungszentrale die nervige Benachrichtigung über verfügbare Updates zu deaktivieren ?

Ich weiß auch so, dass unsere Macs jeden Tag irgendwelche App-Updates haben wollen, bekommen sie aber nicht jeden Tag.

Unter lion gab es bei mir keine Probleme, unter Mountain lion Abbruch, Abbruch und wieder Abbruch. Naja mittlerweile hatte ich mir angewöhnt die Updates immer etwas später zu laden . Ich führe das ,denk ich , mal wieder ein .
