"Hijack": Neue Thriller-Serie mit Idris Elba landet auf Apple TV+

Auch am heutigen Abend gibt es wieder über News zu Apples Streamingdienst Apple TV+ zu berichten. So hat das Unternehmen selbst verkündet, dass man sich die Rechte an einer siebenteiligen Thriller-Serie namens "Hijack" gesichert habe, in der Hollywood-Star Idris Elba die Hauptrolle spielen wird. Inhaltlich geht es in "Hijack" um die Entführung eines Passagierfrlugzeugs, welches sich auf dem Weg nach London befindet. Elba schlüpft dabei in die Rolle des Managers Sam Nelson, der all seine Zivilcourage aufbieten muss, um das Leben der Passagiere an Bord des Flugzeugs zu retten. Neben der Hauptrolle wird Elba mit seinem Studio Green Door Pictures auch den Part des ausführenden Produzenten übernehmen. Ein Starttermin für die neue Serie steht noch nicht fest.
