iOS/iPadOS 15.4, macOS Monterey 12.3, watchOS 8.5 und tvOS 15.4 erscheinen kommende Woche

Noch hat Apple am heutigen Abend auf dem Event nicht die neuen Betriebssystemversionen von iOS/iPadOS 15.4, macOS Monterey 12.3, watchOS 8.5 und tvOS 15.4 für alle Nutzer eines unterstützten Geräts veröffentlicht. Immerhin hat man die Verfügbarkeit aber im Rahmen seiner zugehörigen Pressemitteilungen angekündigt. So werden die Updates in der kommenden Woche bereitstsehen. Passend dazu hat Apple am heutigen Abend die jeweiligen Release Candidates für alle registrierten Entwickler veröffentlicht. Auch die Teilnehmer am Public Beta Programm dürften in den kommenden Stunden Zugriff erhalten.

Speziell bei iOS 15.4 handelt es sich um ein größeres Update, welches neben der Möglichkeit, sein iPhone (12 und neuer) auch mit getragener Maske per Face ID zu entsperren auch die Unterstützung von Universal Control und diverse weitere Neuerungen mitbringt, die bereits aus der Betaphase bekannt sind. Damit Universal Control funktionieren kann, werden natürlich iPadOS 15.4 und macOS Monterey 12.3 parallel benötigt.

Ich bin sehr gespannt, wie viel unsicherer es ist, Face ID mit Maske zu verwenden.
