Samsung präsentiert seine neuen Galaxy S21 Smartphones und Galaxy Buds Pro

Der Apple-Konkurrent Samsung macht für 2021 den Anfang und hat seine ersten neuen Smartphone-Flaggschiffe, konkret das Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ und Galaxy S21 Ultra, sowie eine neue Generation der Galaxy Buds Pro vorgestellt. Große Überraschungen hielt man dabei nicht bereits, da die meisten Speziaifkationen bereits im Vorfeld bekannt waren. Die neue Galaxy S21 Serie kommt in den gewohnten 6,2"- bis 6,8"-Displays auf den Markt. Bei der Ultra-Variante handelt es sich erneut um ein Premium-Modell mit besseren internen Komponenten, Kameras und der Unterstützung für den Samsung S-Pen.

Ähnlich wie das iPhone 12 besitzen auch das Galaxy S21 und Galaxy S21 Plus ein flaches Display. Bei der rückwärtigen Kamera handelt es sich um ein vertikal angeordnetes Triple-Lens Setup mit einem 12 Megapixel Hauptobjektiv, einem 12 Megapixel Ultraweitwinkelobjektiv und einem 64 Megapixel Teleobjektiv. Beim Galaxy S21 Ultra wird ein Quad-Lens Setup zum Einsatz kommen, welches darüber hinaus mit einem 10 Megapixel Objektiv mit einem 10-fachen Super-Tele-Zoom aufwartet. Darüber hinaus verbaut Samsung hierbei ein 108 Megapixel Hauptobjektiv, ein 12 Megapixel Ultraweitwinkelobjektiv und ein 10 Megapixel 3-fachen Teleobjektiv. Der Autofokus wird zudem von einem Laser unterstützt.

Als Prozessor kommen im Inneren ein Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 bzw. ein Exynos 2100 Chip zum Einsatz. Die Displays verfügen erneut über Wiederholraten von 120 Hz und 60 Hz und selbstverständlich ist auch die Unterstützung für 5G-Netze mit an Bord. Wie auch beim iPhone 12 verzichtet Samsung ab dem Galaxy S21 übrigens ebenfalls auf die Dreingabe von Kopfhörern und einem Netzteil.

Das Galaxy S21 und Galaxy S21+ stehen in den Speichergrößen 128 GB und 256 GB und in einer Reihe von Farben, darunter Phantom Violet, Phantom Gold, Phantom Red, Phantom Gray, Phantom Pink und Phantom White zur Verfügung. Vorbestellungen werden ab sofort entgegengenommen. Beim Galaxy S21 Ultra kommen noch ein 512 GB Modell und die Farben Phantom Silver, Phantom Black, Phantom Titanium, Phantom Navy und Phantom Brown hinzu. Preislich beginnt das Galaxy S21 bei € 849,-, das Galaxy S21+ bei € 1.049,- und das Galaxy S21 Ultra bei € 1.299,-. Der offizielle Verkaufsstart erfolgt am 29. Januar. Neben den neuen Galaxy S21 Smartphones hat Samsung auch die Galaxy Buds Pro vorgestellt und verspricht Verbesserungen beim Sound und bei Telefongesprächen, eine intelligente Geräuschunterdrückung und eine IPX7-Zertifizierung zum Schutz vor Feuchtigkeit. Alles in allem verspricht Samsung bei den Galaxy Buds Pro "the best audio experience yet".
