Glasgehäuse soll entscheidende Rolle beim kabellosen Laden des nächsten iPhone spielen

Ming-Chi Kuo wird nicht müde, weiter munter seine Informationen zum 2017er Jubiläums-iPhone an den Mann zu bringen. In seiner neuesten Mitteilung geht es dieses Mal um das Gehäusematerial und das kabellose Laden des Geräts. Bereits mehrfach wurde in den vergangenen Wochen spekuliert, dass Apple mit dem iPhone 8 zu einem kompletten Glasgehäuse zurückkehren könnte. Dies hat aber anscheinend nicht nur designtechnische Gründe, sondern auch technisch-praktische. So soll das Glasgehäuse eng mit der Bestrebung eines kabellosen Aufladen zusammenhängen. Um eine möglichst geringe Abschirmung des innenliegenden Akkus zu erzielen, würde Apple hierbei auf Metall beim Gehäuse weitestgehend verzichten.

Dabei soll Apples Ladefunktion komplett kontaktlos geschehen, wodurch das iPhone zum Laden nicht auf eine Station gelegt werden, sondern sich lediglich in dessen Nähe befinden muss. Da Foxconn komplett mit der Endmontage des neuen iPhone beschäftigt sein soll, ist Pegatron als einziger Hersteller für das kabellose Laden im Gespräch.

Apple wird sicherlich den Lightning-Anschlu\337 beibehalten. Und \374ber diesen wird dann das Aufladen des Ger\344tes wohl auch m\366glich sein.
