Auf diese Weise möchte man sich auch für die diversen sturmbedingten Ausfälle im Mobilfunk- und Festnetz in den vergangenen Tagen entschuldigen. Um das noch bis Ende des Monats gültige Geschenk in Anspruch nehmen zu können, reicht es aus, die MeinMagenta-App (kostenlos im AppStore) zu öffnen und direkt auf dem Startbildschirm den entsprechenden Button zu betätigen. Alternativ kann man dies auch auf der Webseite https://pass.telekom.de tun. Ist dies geschehen, werden zunächst die geschenkten 500 MB verbraucht, ehe die Telekom wieder auf das im Vertrag verbliebene Volumen umschaltet.
